I have exceeded my limit for the second time this month with photobucket - so I'm slowly changing all my image codes AGAIN!!!!

I'm gonna give photobucket the flick and upload all the images to my website. I dont want to have to keep changing codes a couple of times a month. Its got me beat how everyone else does it lol, they must have quite a few photobucket accounts!!!

CT Kits - Kit 1 "Adelina"

Hi everyone,

I asked each member of my Creative Team to provide me with a colour chart of between 4-8 of their favourite colours. I will be making a kit for each of them and naming it after them as a way of thanking them for all they do for me.

The first one is finished. Adelina was the first to send hers in, this is her colour chart:

And this is the kit I made based on those colours. I lightened the yellow a bit to make it a neutral creme. Adelina's favourite kit of mine is the "Kinda Shabby" so I tried to stay along those lines with this kit.

Exciting News !!!

Hi everyone,

I have some exciting news to share with you all. I have been accepted as a designer at Do It Digi !!! I also have a couple of other shops in the pipeline.

So............ If theres something on my blog that you want - GET IT NOW !!!! all kits will be coming down in the next day or two. I am leaving it all up for a little bit longer in case theres something you wanted and havent got yet. The links to the Brag Book downloads and Quick Pages downloads will remain active.

I will still be offering freebies, and have the occasional full kit here for you, but I do need to make money, which is why I have decided to start selling. What could be better than making money from something that you love doing !!!!

New Kit - In the Summertime

I know I promised that the next kit would be "Denim Dudes" but somebody else released almost exactly the same kit (using my denim resources from the Ephemeral Victorian) so I've had to put it on the backburner for now. Thats why the kit is so late being posted this week. I had to make a complete new kit.

Its almost summer here in Australia, and the last few days its been in the high 30's where I live. Yesterday was 38 degrees celsius (around 100 I think lol) So I made this kit, while dreaming of being at the beach swimming.

The shells on the paper are actually an overlay, so the paper could be used for just about anything. I left the flowers quite large in the preview so that you could see the detail in the blue one. I tried to make it look like a starfish, with beads of water all over it.

Problems Downloading ?

Sorry for the people that are having problems downloading. I dont know what the problem is, but I just clicked both the links for the Tahlia kit and it took me directly to the download area, without asking for a password.

The only part of the kit that is password protected is the sharing bonus. Because people have somehow managed to get the link to it and downloaded it without earning it.

If the problem continues for you please let me know.

Introducing 2 new CT Members

ME again lol :P

We have 2 new wonderfully talented additions to our Creative Team. A-liya, and Trish (from Templates N More).

I couldnt be happier with the way the Team is shaping up. I'm ecstatic about each and every one of them joining me.

Now I just want 1 more person. Preferably of European background as we have a large amount of European visitors downloading the kits. And I would love to be able to make wordart in different languages for them.

A-liya and Adelina are Russian so that takes care of that side of it, I would prefer the next ( and last) member of our Creative Team to be able to speak either French or Dutch (or both lol) as well as English.

"Tahlia" - Preview

I've finished the previews and thought I would post them for you all to look at. Its another big kit im afraid lol once I get going and I'm having fun its hard to stop.

It has:

4 bows, 5 brads, 3 paperclips, 3 clipboards, 1 cluster, 9 doodles, 6 flowers, 2 folded ribbons, 4 frames, 4 journalling bits, 3 keychains, 16 papers, 5 ribbon wraps (for the frames) 1 safety pin and 3 journalling tabs with sequin borders to match.

if you send in your layouts you will also get:

If you would like to be a member of my Creative Team, you will get access to ALL bonus's as well as items created specifically for the quickpages/bragbooks. I will be making these extras for each kit now as well as the sharing bonus.

What are the requirements I hear you say lol. Make at least 4 layouts per month and post them in 2 different galleries, and also make at least 4 quickpages for me to offer for download (you can make your quickpages from the layouts you create) The extra items you get to help you create the quickpages with are yours to use over and over again. Only members of the CT will be getting these extras. To give you an idea of what you will get heres the extras for this kit.

Sneak Peak at the new kit

I just finished this LO with it and I love it so much I had to post it lol. This photo was taken of my niece 13yrs ago and its still my absolute FAV pic of her. I had to hide half of it because she's naked on the top half lol, but she's surrounded by all this tulle and its just adorable.

Havent got a title for the kit yet, but I think I'm gonna name it after my gorgeous niece and call it "Tahlia"

"A Lot Like Christmas" Mega kit

Finally !!!! after days of storms, bad connections, then having my ADSL revert back to dial up speeds because I was over my quota, everything is back to normal and I was able to upload my Christmas kit.

Its HUGE !!!!! lol. Took me just about all day to upload it too :- So while it was uploading I started working on my next kit and its almost finished too lol.

I worked out that If I reduce the size of the QP's to 8 x 8 and 200ppi that it doesnt slow my computer down anywhere near as much as 12 x 12 300 ppi does. Would you still use QP's at that size ? I suppose you could always resize them yourself if you wanted 12 x 12's. Please let me know what you prefer.

Sidetracked again lol - back onto the Christmas kit. As per usual not everything is included in the previews lol, Theres a mixture of patterns and solids in reds, greens and gold / cream. The baubles have a sort of transparency to them. When you put them over a dark paper you can see the paper behind them. Looks great on the tree or the satin papers. I decided against putting any words on them. I figured you could put names on them or whatever saying you wanted to. Theres even 1 blank one to decorate how you want to.

I meant to include the templates I made for the gift boxes so you could make your own if you wanted to, but I forgot (hangs head in shame) I'll post it in the next couple of days for you. And the wordart didnt turn out the way I wanted to, So I have to re-do that and will post it later as well.

I broke it up into 4 downloads Part1, Part2, Part3, Part4. They are still quite large, so if theres any dial up people out there that want the kit, email me and I'll see what I can do for you.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas..................

Tooooooooooooooooooooooys in every store . La didi da di da. LMAO dont mind me, and ignore the off tune singing. That song must be stuck in my head for some reason tho lol, I cant stop singing it and its driving my son mad !!!

So thats what the name of the Christmas kit is gonna be. I've got it finished and I'm in the process of doing the previews and naming the files, hopefully I can get that done tonight then I can start the upload before I go to bed. This kit is HUGE !!!!! 205mb unzipped :- So I'll probably split it up into about 4 or 5 zip files to keep the size down for the people on dial up.

Onto the reason I'm here posting lol. I thought I would show you a preview of the Christmas kits bonus for sharing your layouts with me. Its a collection of Gingerbread elements and Dusted Gingerbread Alpha. I started decorating the elements (as you can see by the heart) but then I thought that if I left them unadorned you could personalise them how you want, and use them over and over again. Things like the star, frames, swirl and tag dont have to be used on just Christmas layouts. They would also go great on boys layouts.

Hopefully these will inspire you to send me more layouts :P

Let It Snow - Add On

It rained here off and on all day yesterday, so I was stuck inside (what a shame lol). So I got the add-on finished earlier than I thought AND I also got some brag book pages done.

Heres the add-on. The windows have a slight glass effect to them - you can still see your photos quite clearly when you put them behind, and I think It makes it look a bit more realistic. There are 3 versions of the snowman 2. 1 with the snoballs, 1 without the snowballs, and 1 with the sign blank so you can put what you want on it.

Now for the Brag Book. I've never made Brag Book pages before so I hope you like them, I'm happy with the way they turned out. I especially like the last one with the snowman hiding behind the paper ready to throw the snowball lol.

If they go down well, I might continue to make them for all kits. I wont be doing QP's though. All those layers at that size just freezes my computer. So if anyone else wants to make quickpages for people email me and we'll see what we can work out.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas ..........

................lol I cant get that old song out of my head. As promised here is a preview of the Chrismas kit I'm working on. Most of its done, I just have the "bling" and wordart to go. So hopefully......... I should have it up for you by the end of the weekend. It just depends on how my RL behaves between now and then lol.

Still havent come up with a name for it yet, any suggestions ?

I might end up having 2 or 3 Christmas kits yet lol. I made so many papers that I've put most of them in another folder til later. The other colour (theres that aussie spelling again :p) schemes are electric blue, silver & deep purple for one of them and pale pink, pale blue and silver for another one.

I've already made the extras for the people that send in their layouts as well. Not saying what it is just yet, you'll just have to wait and see lol.

To all you beautiful people that downloaded "Let it Snow" and left me all those wonderful messages. I just read them, and the lift it gave me was unbelievable. I wont be able to get the smile off my face for days !!!

I am really loving the layouts your sending me as well. I'm creating something extra for those of you that have sent me your layouts to earn the "Memories of You" kit. I've decided that every month or so I will be creating a kit, just for those that share their layouts with me.

At the moment I'm working on my Christmas kit and also an add on for "Let it Snow". I'll post a "working preview" of them soon, so check back in a couple of days. Keep those layouts coming - you never know what you might get in return.
