Where does the time go - Was it really July the last time I updated my blog ROFL, I cant believe its been that long.

I have lots of new stuff in store - and some new team members creating for me as well.

Ilona and Jacq have joined my team as hybrid album creators. These wonderful ladies will be creating all different types of albums for you using my kits. And Pia has joined us to create layered edges / clusters. All 3 are amazingly talented women and I'm over the moon that they have joined us.

Ilona has her first 2 albums in store - 1 for Just Because and 1 for Maggie May. Both these albums are on special for $4.79 each at the moment. But hurry - they'll be up to full price ( $5.99 ) soon.

And Pia has a few sets as well, each set is priced at just $2.99. Place one of the clusters over a paper of your choice, add your photo, journalling and maybe a title - and you have a wonderful, easy as can be layout.

Happy Birthday Netta !!!!!

My wonderful friend and Store Manager (Netta) is turning 28 today!!! Rusty and I racked our brains trying to come up with something special for her. Rusty made the page using Cari Lopez' Party kit. I added the words. Not the best words in the world, but they are heartfelt lol.

She deserves so much more, but I know she will love and treasure this as if it were gold.

I've just added this new brag book for my "Countryside" kit to the store

This kit is so much fun to work with - I cant stop myself LOL.

I've also just added the first product for one of our NEW Designers - C.C. Designs (aka our very own Rusty). Before long, Rusty's shop will be full of templates of all different shapes and sizes. This girl has soooooooooo much talent.

This kit is very close to my heart. Tomorrow, 17th March 2008 is the 4th Anniversary of the death of my stepfather from Cancer.

This kit, is in honour of him, and dedicated to everyone who has ever lost anyone they love to this disease.

The Australian Government ( in their infinate wisdom ) has recently stopped funding the Cancer Council of Australia. I am already a regular donator, but that just doesnt seem enough, after all they did to help my family while we were nursing my stepfather through this disease.

If you would like to donate the value of this kit (US$9.99) to either a Cancer Charity in your area, a Cancer Research Insitution, or The Cancer Council of Australia - AND you can provide me with proof of this donation, dated no earlier than 12th March 2008 - then I will issue you with a 100% discount voucher to get this kit from my store for free. I've been really really REALLY busy lol. And considering how busy I've been, a week and a half late isn't too bad is it ? lol. Anyway, sorry I'm posting this so late. Its the kit I made for Jess, a former CT member. It was made last year along with all the others. Jess's request was girly, grungy and whimsical, and she provided the colour chart. Cant say I've made anything whimsical before, and I dont know if you would actually call this whimsical, but its what I came up with at the time.

A Collaboration, New kits, and a Freebie

I have made a couple of quick pages, as part of a collaboration with The Template Club, using my latet kit "Jordan Claire"

"Jordan Claire" is my cousins daughter, and I recently scrapped a photo of her from her High School Formal, using BooLands Anemone kit. (its posted at DID Gallery) But I wanted to make her something all of her own, so this kit was born.

Jordan is your typical teenage princess, loves to dress up, but loves to dress down just as much. She is a very special girl, who has had to endure a lot in her short life - including 2 open heart surgery operations. I hope you enjoy this kit, as much as I enjoyed making it for her.

Grungy papers, grungy frames, grungy flowers, lol grungy everything. Cardboard elements with mesh coverings, clusters, notepaper frames, grunged up raffia bows. Perfect for the grubby little men in your life.

The first kit, I made to make invitations for my mothers upcoming 60th Birthday Party. It doesnt have a "birthday" theme to it, as I wanted to be able to use it over and over again. New in store this week 17 Jan - and a freebie

This is gonna be a long one, so grab a cuppa and get comfortable lol. I should warn you also, that some of the previews look a bit distorted. I had to reset my settings in PSP and forgot to change the resize method back to "smart size". I can assure you that its only the previews that look like that.

I'll start off first with the specials - they arent really new in store, BUT for $1 each, they're a deadset bargain lol. They will be $1 each for 2 weeks, after which they will disappear from my store for good.

Now for the newbies :)

Firstly, I have what I think will be my last "grungy" type kit for a while. I want to challenge myself and try out different styles (as you will see from the 2nd kit). So I'm going to try and stay away from what I would normally do, and force myself to do styles that are "out of the norm" for me. The colours I chose for this kit, were the colours I used in my "Colour Challenge" at DID - I just expanded on it a little.

My first film reel templates :) These look distorted, but its the resizing method - not the templates themselves. They are as clear as a bell. This pack is priced at $3.00 - BUT even the CU items are on special for the first week, so you can pick them up for just $2.10.

And, because I felt a tad guilty about the lack of CU Items this week, I have bundled up some of my products into similar themed packs and heavily reduced the prices for you.

The first "Bundle" is the Fabric Pack" Bundle. It includes ALL 7 packs in the Fab Pack series, if purchased individually, they would cost $35.00. But if you buy the Bundle Pack, you can get them all for just $22.00 - thats a huge saving !!

The "Floral" Bundle. Includes both Floral Paper Packs, Petal Patch and both of the Real Flowers packs. If purchased individually, these items would also cost you $35.00. Buy the bundle and pay only $22.00

And for those of you that loved my "Tranquility" series paper packs, you can get all 4 of these packs for just $13 if you purchase the bundle. If purchased seperately, they would cost a total of $20.00. AND because I was packaging them late at night, I have discovered that the zips include the original coloured files, instead of the greyscale ones - So you dont even have to colour if you dont want to. Anything I supply for CU that isnt greyscaled, can be used "as is"

We are looking for EXCLUSIVE Creative Team members. This means you would not be on any other creative teams outside of DID, including individual designers or stores. Sneak Peak at my new kit, and a LO I did with it

Hi everyone,

I made this kit specifically to scrap this particular photo. While I do have my "girly girl" moments, I'm not overly girly, and this kit suits me down to the ground. It has its feminine touches, with some of the papers being floral, but it can be used to scrap just bout any sort of pic.

I havent come up with a name for it as yet, but it has the working title of "Pieces of Me" I'm not sure if that will be the final name though.

The wraps remind me of the wrap I was wearing for the photo, and it has a mix of vintage and "not so vintage" papers and elements. And the crochet flowers are in it because I used to crochet all the time, til the arthritis made me stop.

So here is a preview of the kit, and the layout I did with it.

The kit should be in my store by the end of the week, but stay tuned for the freebie portion which I will post in the next couple of days.

I asked each member of my Creative Team to provide me with a colour chart of between 4-8 of their favourite colours. I will be making a kit for each of them and naming it after them as a way of thanking them for all they do for me.

The first one is finished. Adelina was the first to send hers in, this is her colour chart:

And this is the kit I made based on those colours. I lightened the yellow a bit to make it a neutral creme. Adelina's favourite kit of mine is the "Kinda Shabby" so I tried to stay along those lines with this kit.

Exciting News !!!

Hi everyone,

I have some exciting news to share with you all. I have been accepted as a designer at Do It Digi !!! I also have a couple of other shops in the pipeline.

So............ If theres something on my blog that you want - GET IT NOW !!!! all kits will be coming down in the next day or two. New Kit - In the Summertime

I know I promised that the next kit would be "Denim Dudes" but somebody else released almost exactly the same kit (using my denim resources from the Ephemeral Victorian) so I've had to put it on the backburner for now. Thats why the kit is so late being posted this week. I had to make a complete new kit.

Its almost summer here in Australia, and the last few days its been in the high 30's where I live. Yesterday was 38 degrees celsius (around 100 I think lol) So I made this kit, while dreaming of being at the beach swimming.

The shells on the paper are actually an overlay, so the paper could be used for just about anything. I left the flowers quite large in the preview so that you could see the detail in the blue one. I tried to make it look like a starfish, with beads of water all over it.

Digital Scrap Spirit is having a 50% off sale !!! I went along and bought a few kits. I just love Manu's style. Heres the previews for the kits I bought.

OK so maybe I bought more than a few !! LOL I couldnt help myself, and I NEVER buy scrapkits. It has to be something special for me to want to buy it !!! I dont even download freebies like I used to, because I normally have to delete stuff from my external to make room for them.
